We enter a brave and safe space for you to reflect and understand how to navigate challenging situations through empathy, curiosity, and openness. Together, we’ll explore compassionate ways to resolve conflict by hearing, seeing, and valuing everyone’s voice. Family connections can be strengthened based on mutual respect and care for each other without judgment, blame, or shame. This is how a family culture of kindness, compassion, and personal responsibility is cultivated.
My coaching is grounded in nonviolent communication, mindfulness, Kristin Neff & Chris Germer’s Mindful Self Compassion, and Gabor Maté’s Compassionate Inquiry.
I will support you in:
- Identifying the root cause of specific relational or situational dynamics.
- Becoming aware of unhelpful perceptions.
- Finding your voice in expressing what is true for you and to understand what is true for others.
- Exploring core beliefs to see how they show up in your life.
- Building a personal toolkit filled with resources that will support you in increasing self-awareness and compassion towards yourself and others.
Here is the investment you make in yourself:
- Individual sessions are U.S. $125 / 50 minute session
- Package of six 50 minute sessions are U.S. $675
"The best part about working with Marina is her kindness, willingness to explore, and the meditations she shared with me. I was able to add more tools to my toolkit."

“Ms. Barnes has truly transformed my life. During a challenging time when my family was grappling with a difficult health diagnosis, her techniques were a lifeline. She reminded me of the power of gratitude, especially during moments of anxiety. I came to her carrying heavy emotional burdens, but she equipped me with the tools to lift those weights off my shoulders. Each week, she introduced a new meditative practice or a self-kindness technique, teaching me to be gentle with myself instead of judgmental. Her approach helped me not only heal my relationship with my own body but also become a kinder, happier person toward others. I wouldn’t be where I am today without her support. Ms. Barnes is truly a light in the lives of everyone she touches, and her compassion and empathy are felt by all who meet her.”
