Compassionate Inquiry is a somatic approach in revealing unconscious patterns embedded in thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and beliefs. These are often formed early in life. However, they may still be influencing you in personal strategies that no longer serve you today.
Being able to connect to the felt-sense of your present body experience can support you in becoming aware of what is not conscious. This awareness is the beginning in accessing your innate wisdom and knowing your true self.
My offering of the Compassionate Inquiry approach can support you in:
- Becoming aware of unconscious patterns that are driving your life.
- Exploring a pathway to free yourself from limiting thoughts and beliefs.
- Cultivating awareness of sensations and emotions in the body.
- Re-parenting yourself through self-compassion.
“The purpose of compassionate Inquiry is to drill down to the core stories people tell themselves – to get them to see what story they are telling themselves unconsciously; what those beliefs are, where they came from; and guide them to the possibility of letting go of those stories, or letting go those stories have on them …”

“The Compassionate Inquiry sessions were extremely helpful. Marina was brilliant at attuning with me and giving me space – yet not leaving me alone in it.”
Sarah – Scotland
“Marina’s process of inquiry caused me to go within and probe instead of resisting or ignoring. She then asked great questions that helped to keep chipping away at what was coming up for me and gave me lots of insights. I felt heard and safe.”
